Best Brunch in Fort Worth, TX: 6 Places You Need To Try

There is nothing like an incredible brunch to make your day. Whether you're toasting Mimosas over fluffy pancakes with your best friends, diving into an egg and sausage feast with the family, or you're looking for something new, Fort Worth is an incredible town for brunch.
There is no end to the delicious places for a late breakfast - sometimes around the clock. You can find a favorite place to frequent or try a different brunch place every weekend. Here's where you can find some of the best brunch in Fort Worth, TX.

Ginger Brown's Old Tyme Restaurant & Bakery

Just a few blocks from Summit on the Lakes Apartments is the Ginger Brown Old Tyme Restaurant & Bakery. If you're classic Texas breakfast, you'll find absolutely everything you could desire at Ginger Brown's. There are fluffy pancakes to drown in syrup or powdered sugar. There's chicken fried steak doused in white pepper gravy. You can get a platter of eggs, biscuits, and sausage or crispy fried chicken on a Texas-sized waffle.

If that's not enough the sides are everything you could dream of including fried okra, sweet corn, collard greens, hashbrowns. And you simply cannot leave without trying their legendary, signature cinnamon rolls.

River Oaks Cafe

A little further down Jacksboro Highway, you'll find the charming little River Oaks Cafe. It may look modest, but that's how Texans like our local favorites. Open from 6 AM to 3 PM every day, brunch is what they do. River Oaks is known for its classic breakfast menu, from breakfast burritos to biscuits and gravy to delectable French toast. Of course, if you're feeling more lunch-ish, you can dive into the other half of the menu, ordering chicken with french fries, juicy burgers, and plenty of brisket.

River Oaks Cafe also has a few tables on the sidewalk if the weather is cool enough to enjoy the sunshine while you brunch with one or two friends.

Cat City Grill

If you're looking for a fancier brunch you can toast to, the Cat City Grill is by far the best Fort Worth brunch with mimosas. During the weekend, mimosas and other brunch-friendly drinks are $2 and $3 a glass while you sip delicious fruity (or spicy) cocktails over your pancakes and eggs. Cat City Grill is elegant with glossy black chairs and mood lighting, but their plating style is still very Texas, so you're sure to get plenty to eat.

You'll find tons of options for "benedict" plates and six different types of omelets, and they have a specialty cinnamon roll you will simply have to try.

Toro Toro

In the heart of downtown Fort Worth is the gorgeous Toro Toro. The interior is polished wood, with bar seating and high ceilings that are a delight to see. Toro Toro has a gourmet spin on everything they do, from brunch to dinner, but they have a special Brunch experience that Fort Worth residents adore. Alongside $3 brunch cocktails and a live Latin music DJ, you will also enjoy a family-style brunch buffet, or you can order beautifully plated works of edible breakfast art from the kitchen.

Blue Mesa Grill

As you approach downtown, you'll get a chance to swing by the Blue Mesa Grill, a trendy, modern-looking restaurant with a cool rustic-industrial vibe. They host a special brunch buffet on the weekends with an all-you-can-eat feast featuring southwest-style breakfast foods. Not to mention their brunch mimosas and the tequila bar. Locals rave about the brunch, including build-your-own breakfast tacos right next to breakfast dessert tables with cookies, lemon bars, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. You simply cannot go wrong brunching at the Blue Mesa.

New Day Cafe Brunch House

Circling back toward home, stop at the new Day Cafe Brunch House if you're craving a classic breakfast, including light, delicate crepes with every possible filling. We love the New Day because the menu has great brunch variety, and yet every bite is exactly what your taste buds expect. They've got Nutella crepes, avocado toast, and breakfast gyros alongside Texas brunch staples like pancakes, egg and sausage platters, and onion ring burgers. There is literally something for everyone, and every plate is heaped with reliably delicious brunch specialties.
